All has to be ATRS MS. The atrs lower is shorter overall than an Ar pattern , stepped down in front by the pivot pin and they attach differently. No possible way for an Ar upper or lower to work woth an ATRS modern sporter.Originally Posted by freefrom

Screw on deflectors are for the slick side uppers
This. The reason for that was that a machined deflector on SS would require them to start with a significantly larger block of material adding extra cost at no benefit.

I like my SS uppers but seeing a FA makes me want one (or five).
Just ordered these neat little add ons for one of my builds. Anyone know where to order a larger latch for the charging handle?

what kind of parts do I need to complete the upper? Ive got a barrel, rail, bcg, and a gas block on the way.
