    That is correct the model 591 and 592 (I own 1 of each) as well as a Thompson Contender pistol which I've never seen personally. Like I mentioned earlier in the thread there was rumor Savage was going to start making a 5mm again a few years back, but I'm not sure what happened with that.

    Aren't the Savage 22's made here in Canada? Too bad they couldn't be persuaded to produce a 5mm. Maybe even in a semi, for the tacti-cool crowd.

    I really like the round and if I'm not mistaken it was only around for 5 or 6 years starting in the early '70s and the ammo started drying up in the late '70s to early '80s

    I have around 700 rounds left. I'd sure like to be able to shoot my rifles more and not have to worry about shooting more then 50 or so rounds the few times I take them out. I managed to grab the last brick Can Am had a few years back when they had some.
