Not sure of I want to spend 250$ + on a new trigger though

Who's got what for the 100$ to 150$ mark in stock in Canada?

The ALG Defense ACT trigger is what you are looking for. It was $120 to my door if I remember correctly.
No such thing as too much ammunition or toilet paper...

ALG ACT is a great trigger! 4.5 or 6 lbs. comes with 2 hammer springs.

Any standard AR trigger will work - it has been reported by JaredP that cartridge style triggers (Trigger-Tech etc) there needs to be some grinding done on the bolt holdback bar for them to fit.

I bought and installed the ALG ACT (and used the light spring). Was about $135 to my door. A vendor here had some back in stock for 90 bucks plus tax and shipping the other day but I see they went out of stock again (Arms East).
CTCS (where I bought mine) has them at $110
