Can you get the "new" Magpul PMAG 27rnd GL9 MAG662 (pinned to 10)?
These are closer to the length of a standard AR magazine than a 33 rnd mag, so will fit into standard mag pouches better.

The exact same point as a 5/30 in an AR platform rifle. Aside from the better grip for mag changes, some people find full or full+ capacity magazines to load better if they're pinned to 10.5 rounds. I personally call them 'forward compatible' in the event we get magazine capacity law changes as recently happened in California. What a Fudd question to ask.
