    Can anyone explain the difference in cleaning rods?

    Ultimately they are coated steel rods.....

    I use the V-stick... it is stiffer than your average rod which really helps when you are using the proof positive jags.

    The more expensive proof positive rods use non brass tips which wont colour your copper remover.
