I agree with Mr. Wolverine that we need to promote the positive aspects of our sport and lifestyle.

Further to that, we need to support the CPC as they are the only possibility of slowing down the insanity of our current LPC. Throwing a hissy fit about Andrew Scheer is very small picture thinking. So is cheering for Bernier (who has no hope of doing anything but vote splitting). Any non CPC vote is a vote to continue down the path of liberal insanity.

And this is why I am so disheartened by Bernier's move last week. He may very well have saved the Turd from getting flushed next year.

If the liberals think law abiding gun owners are the problem, instead of banning, how about just checking storage of them, I've bought an average of 2 per year since getting r-pal 8 years ago, plus non r, for all the powers that be know, they could be in a bank type vault or sitting on the coffee table. If we are the problem, check storage. If we are the problem either they weren't stored properly or we sold them illegally, either way a check would tell that.

Btw, thanks to throw me under the bus.
Hope you're aware you can't shoot restricted firearms on crownland...! That attitude throws restricted owners under the bus...

It's really unfortunate to say this, but Sheer's voting history is really going to mess with the chances of a CPC win in 2019. I have no problem with what he's currently doing and what he currently wants to fight for, but I can't help but cringe when looking at his parliamentary record and voting history. Luckily I can distinguish his past from what he wants for Canada's future, but I can't blame anyone for being weary of supporting him based on his past.

I think CPC would be much better off with someone else at the helm in terms of gaining buy-in from the majority of Canadians. For us, Sheer is fine. But again, I totally understand where people are coming from when they're weary on supporting him.

On private land you can. By your lonesome or invite friends to shoot. The restricted needs to be registered with a land description. I live on acreage and I hear rifles shot pop of near my house at midnight without a warning. 2 shots, I need to have a talk with the young fellas. We are allowed to control coyotes or strays. I admit if I wasn't a firearm owner I may have called the police on him. Idid hear the shots but I did not see him do it. My first two hand guns where registered on my parents home quater section. 1984.
