They'll be Commercial Versions, there is no SBR classification in Canada.

what i meant was, is it registered as a rifle or a pistol? if its registered as a pistol, it doesn't matter if it has a 4' barrel, it can never fall into the non-restricted category.

    Registered as a pistol?

The FDE model comes with a black stock?

Does it has the end cap to use it as a pistol only?

They are registered as rifles. There's no pistol variation in the FRT as far as I am aware. That could have changed. There are non-restricted carbine variants that Dlask has made with longer barrels. These are essentially semi-auto variants of a popular submachine gun.

Also I am not sure your question is relevant. The barrels are not user replaceable or swappable anyway.

Some are registered as pistol ....a fellow shooter has one and brings it to the US. (If it would not be registered as a pistol, he could not bring it)
