    I bought a uc30 but it’s always low on battery! I’ll charge it and then it’ll just go dead shortly thereafter. And the charging port is very loose, really need to plug it in gently or it comes out.
    Quality of light is great, though.

    I wish Surefire made a 80 lumen and 300 lumen light rather than something weird like only 5 and then 500...
    Same experience here, the UC30 can never keep it charged

    I have had my LD20 (2xAA's, 200 lumens max) for about 9 years now.
    It had a very easy life at first, $65 I was not going to let it get abused, thats what the $10 princess auto specials are for.
    For the last 4 years or so its been put through allot more. With me everywhere in the field at work.

    Keeps kicking ass.

    I have been abusing it more and more kind of hoping it dies to be honest, so I can justify getting one of the many newer models (LD20 is discontinued now, but was their best selling flashlight in the 2008 era.)

    Its lasted longer than most other electronics I have...

    i keep mine in the truck,along with my k bar and a can of bear spray.
    i'd kill for a nobel peace prize
