    Bul Armory 1911 Competition Extractor

So Bul decided to redesign the 1911 extractor to a more modern design.

There have been other attempts, but this one looks really good - I tested it in my personal DVC Open last night and it worked flawlessly.

This extractor replaces where a traditional normal extractor would go.

As with ANY 1911- fitting may be required. (But I just dropped it into my DVC Open - no work at all)

Will the 1911 bul's you are getting in this spring have this already installed?
Did the ones sold in 2019 have them in?

Sorry, I don't know. I'll know closer to when they arrive.

No - the extractor had not yet been released while they were being built.

How do these compare to the Aftec extractors in terms of performance?

Haven't been around long enough to say at this point.

Definitely a better design; more modern - a pivoting hook on a hinge with springs; how it holds up will have to be seen.

I have one going into a new single stack open build that should be ready for testing the first week of Feb. Using one of their new tool-ess guide rods too. Will report back.

By the looks of it, it should work with any spec 1911 slide...

I cant speak for the Bul Extractor but the Aftec have been 100000000000% reliable in my 38 super open guns. Cant beat that. If these are that reliable as well they are cheaper than the Aftec. Good to see more options out there. Bul seems to make really good stuff
