Inside Sales
For over 30 years, Gravel Agency has excelled in commercialization and distribution of firearms, parts and accessories for Sport Shooting, Law Enforcement, Military, Tactical Units, Hunting and Outdoor Sporting Goods. We are a well-established, multi-service agency that specializes in National Sales, Distribution and Marketing.
Collaborating with world-renowned companies promotes our solid, bulletproof reputation. This has allowed us to multiply our contacts and build the biggest distributor and retailer network in Canada.
We are proud of the stimulating work environment, down-to-earth management and friendly staff here at Gravel. We are currently looking to expand the team with an Inside Sales Rep.
This person will work with customers to find what they are looking for, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. They will be encouraged to find new sales leads within the industry and maintain the relations already established. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, has great organization and prioritization skills, and has the flexibility to react quickly to close a deal.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain existing business relationships
• Seek new business partners and opportunities
• Supply merchants with pertinent information regarding general and tactical firearms inquiries
• Provide technical assistance via phone and e-mails
• Stay up to date on industry trends, new products and the competitive fields and ensure our company is aware of these
• Follow up on orders with Brand Managers and suppliers
• Identify missing reoccurring errors and offer solutions to the problem
• Enter data in SAP (computer program)
• Visit dealers and assist them with finding ways to increase business (store set up, prices, seasonal purchases, etc)
• Attend a few specific trade shows across North America
Qualifications:
• Perfect English (written and spoken); preferably bilingual (English and French)
• Professional, dynamic and outgoing
• Tactical firearms knowledge
• Persistent
• Critical thinker/ problem solver
• Comfortable in various roles/ positions
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
• Valid PAL, passport and driver’s license
• No criminal record
Salary: To be determined
Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 40 hours/week; regular business hours
