The barrel nut that came with mine requires a 1/2" drive 1&1/16" open end crowfoot wrench. Or 3/8 drive depending on you torque wrench.

How about a mystery tool box. Say...an armorers tool, bev block, roll pin punch, torque wrench, etc...
What would the retail be for a rile like these
My rough estimate for each part puts the complete rifle without optic at around $1000-$1200. Pretty great deal for $800 all-in and an evening of work.
Great final product, i'm really liking what they put into it! Although i'm missing a single roll-pin to put the forward assist in (not sure if it was lost in shipping as the forward assist bag wasn't sealed like the rest), so that, the gas system and shopping for a proper optic are my job until i get my cert from the RC's
Just suck less, Bro.
Scooby like mystery box!! (Scooby laugh) lol
Thanks for the info, It's going to be my first ar build. From the pic I have seen they look great.
Went ok so far
Next would be to check head space, trigger, anything else?

I've made a mistake...
This should be flat
PSA:
Do not send the bolt forward without the barrel attached.
Things happen
Bad things
On the bright side, I could get one of these in Gold to match the bolt

I'm also not sure about this Buffer wear
Normal? Or just because of the damaged charging handle?
Good news is, that Clevis Pin trick works perfectly for the front takedown pin.
I mortared the pivot pin detent and it hit the ceiling and landed on top of my head and stayed there. Sweet hair!
