Did you pick up an armorer's wrench or is there an alternative? Trying not to invest too much in tools as this will be my first and last build

    This is all you'd need
I did go with the 35$ wrench, but the barrel nut doesn't need it

That will do the flash hider and the Castle nut, cheapest option (aside from rigging something up yourself, but you can google that)

Probably not a bad idea to put together an AR builders kit that includes non standard tools, such as the ar 15 wrench, correct grease, any bits and bobs over above the standard shop tools that guys would need.

Could probably have a basic kit with the bare bones, and a complete TEOTWAWKI tool kit that assumes you have nothing but that kit to build the AR. That Way I can include the tool kit in my ... time capsule.

To be honest I thought building ARs was a fools errand when there were so many good factory made options out there ready to go. The forum was filled with way too many threads of people who bubba'd their builds, or selected incompatible pieces etc.

But this mystery box actually has me interested.
