    No 18" because restricted
If it's either loud, obnoxious, fast, hated by the general population or any combination of these, I OWN IT!!

20" because there is a pre-existing high quality pencil barrel of that length, not of 18.6. Cuts cost to get off the shelf. The whole point of this build is a base model light weigh rifle that doesnt cost too much and stays above 18.6" for NR status.

What kind of handguard is on this rifle? It's not a stag 10 handguard. Anyone knowwhere and how much to cut and rethread a barrel to 18.6?
All items shipped by canada post expedited with tracking and $100 insurance included.
Insurance above $100 coverage is on the buyer.
I'll need to see your PAL for firearms, ammo.

Why would you want to cut the barrel down? 20" is a proven platform with no issues. Accuracy, balance, and reliability are amazing, if it's not broken don't fix it... You are talking less then 1 1/2 inches... Just our .02.

Flat rate shipping to Canada is 25.00USD on all accessory and ammunition orders regardless of quantities ordered. Firearms are exported to Canada at a flat rate of 25.00USD per firearm.

Accounting for the fact I’m still relatively new (be gentle), I’m not yet in the Builders League so am considering a complete Stag 10, maybe this one. Intended use is mostly plinking, eventually/hopefully some long range shooting, and the occasional deer hunt. Am I correct to assume that this light barrel configuration ticks all the boxes? Or is it made light specifically for hunting and less than ideal for repeat shots and long range accuracy, such that I should go with one of the heavier barrelled options? Apologies if the answer should be obvious.

Pretty sure it's an aimsports hand guard that came on mine.
