What are the current legal status of .50 magazines?

Hi guys I am sorry if this question have been answered before.
I am very confused regarding to .50 magazines.

Some posts says all .50 magazines have to be pinned to 2 rounds thus maximum 5 rounds .223 rounds are allowed due to stupid "dual magazine" thing.
Then I also see retailer selling .50 magazines with 5 rounds in my local area. For example: IMI, PVC or other brand.

My question is: Can we still own 5 round .50 magazines today? If not will legal owners who bought them before get into trouble? And what should they do if that's the case? Thanks.

According to the law they are legal. The RCMP seems to think otherwise but so far nobody has been charged.
