Here's my lightweight build. Dialed in the gas block and it shoots smooth and soft. Next is to shoot for groups... I'd be happy with sub-moa 5 shot groups lol
7.25 lbs without mag and optics, parts list:
Stag 10 GI base (receiver set, buffer, buffer tube, buffer spring)
Tactical Precision titanium muzzle brake
SLR adjustable gas block
YHM nitride black gas tube
MRA fluted match barrel 1:11.25 twist
Brownells Titanium BCG
Radian Ambi CH
V7 ultralight handguard
Velocity 3lb flat shoe trigger pack
Magpul aluminum trigger guard
Magpul extended mag button
Magpul K2 grip
BCM Gunfighter Mod 0 stock
---------------------------------------
I'll be swapping in the below which should shave another 2 oz:
V7 ultralight castle nut
V7 ultralight end plate
V7 ultralight forward assist
V7 ultralight mag release
Strike Industries dust cover
And if I swap out the stock to a MFT Minimalist stock, that will shave another 2.3 oz to bring it below 7 lbs! Pretty good for an AR10 that's not running a pencil barrel

Here's everything that's not OEM/standard:
Hipfire Eclipse Trigger
MI 15" Handguard
SLR Titanium adjustable gas block
MRA pencil stainless match barrel 18.6", brake (forgot the name)
Brownells Titanium BCG
Magpul UBR2 Stock and BUISes
The stock ain't the lightest, I know.. but I like the UBR
The next step would be to find a titanium brake device (like the above post - where'd you get that? , that's also shorter, to save on that barrel-end weight (and feel)).
I also think it's be said again and again, the biggest weight savings (real and perceived recoil) is to lighten the BCG, get an ajustable gas block first, then move on to a lighter hanguard/barrel

I imported it from Anarchy Outdoors. The titanium brake is insanely light at 0.7oz. Only downside is that i shoot prone often and with this full port brake, it kicks off dusts more than I like. Most likely will sell it for another brake that only opens to the sides and top.
And yes, agreed that the most cost-effective ways to shave weight would be the barrel, BCG, handguard, and also the stock. For me;
Titanium BCG is 12oz vs Stag factory BCG at 19oz
MRA barrel is 2 lbs 8 oz vs Stag factory barrel is 3 lbs 3 oz
V7 handguard is 9 oz with nut and screw vs Stag factory is 17.5 oz
BCM stock is 8.3 oz vs Magpul ACS stock is 14 oz
Change out the above and you hacked off almost 2 lbs from factory! I know Arms East had these listed at 8.75 lbs in factory form, but it was heavier than that for sure when I weighed it, at 9 lbs.

Well, if you're going to get rid of that brake at some point, we can talk
The MRA pencil barrel is 1oz shy of 2lbs IIRC, so you'd save another 9oz!
Uh, not sure.. i think it's a generic carbine length tube/buffer/spring. I can have a look later, but I consider those parts "generic", nothing special. I might 'upgrade' to the JP silent spring set up though.
Also, alex.nie, nice... how did it shoot??
