Jagmeet Singh has been in parades/gatherings that showed support for the people behind the Air India bombing ..... should he be the one to actually point his finger at gun owners and suggest we are responsible for gun crimes?

    He has a credibility issue.

Because of those border checkpoints at Steeles Ave, c’mon use your head.

Political parties and the media are pushing a anti gun agenda from all sides... anyone look thru Netflix lately?
    CBC,CTV, CityTV etc etc
Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, national post

All are liberal gunbanning tags and propaganda

Remember is was the NDP who's Candidate advocated the Drone striking of gun owners in their homes on Canadian soil

They are going to try to ban all firearms. If they can convince people to do it in cities than they can say "SEE THEY DID IT IN TORONTO, WHY DO YOU NEED A GUN IN YOUR SMALL TOWN".

You'll say for animal protection and hunting!

NDP and LIBERALS WILL SAY WE ARE VOTING IN NEW EXTREME CONSERVATION MEASURES AND BESIDES THERE ARE NEW RESTRICTIONS COMING THAT SAY YOUR CALIBER IS FORBIDDEN AND NO MORE LEAD POLLUTION.

You may say what about sport shooting?

NDP AND LIBERALS WILL SAY ONLY THE RACIST PATRIARCHY NEEDS TO PROVE THEMSELVES BY SHOOTING GUNS, BESIDES WE HAVE NEW LAWS TO PREVENT YOU FROM THINKING FOR YOURSELVES!

    VOTE CONSERVATIVE.

A repeat of my post from another thread:

Years ago we had the NDP on our side and against the Liberals for Bill C-68 and the LGR but we have lost that support along the way to where we are today. Now we have both Liberals and NDP aligned against us and the CPC showing every sign of being a reluctant bride.

I frequently wonder if we had adopted a more positive image over the years by consistently contributing $ and effort to social causes near and dear to the heart of the NDP, like charities for the disadvantaged where crime begins. Had we done that it seems that they would find us harder to attack?

Like the excellent line in the latest eNews states "If we expect politicians to fight for us, we must prove we’re worth the time."

This is so true however we can make ourselves "valuable" to politicians in many ways, two of which are to threaten to "redistribute" our votes (this is the iron fist) and / or we can act in a manner that provides us with political currency and politicians the cover that they desperately need to be seen on side with us (this is the velvet glove).

So many here are in love with the iron fist and do not see a future for the velvet glove with the excuse that it will never work. And they're right, because if we don't try it's absolutely guaranteed not to work - which happens to be the only true definition for "failure".

How it might be different we'll never know, will we?

To this I'd like to add the Mr. W is one of the few that "gets it" with their raffles for charitable causes.

Some posters here look at creative ways to raise funds for advertising or court actions but it takes five times longer for Mr. W to sell out these charity draws than it should take given the prizes that he's offering and the worthiness of the charity - your know, like STARS.

Speaks volumes as to why we deserve whatever is coming down the pipe for us if our best defence of all iron fist.

Time for the remaking of a positive image - even if it only saves one gun!

Let's follow the USA example: https://project2025.afsp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Toolkit_Safe_Firearm_Storage_CLEARED_508_2-24-20.pdf

I am taking my friends who don't have PAL to a local range on regular basis and promoting the sport. Some love it and go to get their own licence (proud to be responsible for 3 of those )and some just have fun and realize we are not gun wielding idiots but a bunch of nice guys enjoying the sport. Invite those that you know that argue against guns (and usually don't have a clue what they are talking about) and take them to range for a day of fun. Invite ladies as well. Most of them are a bit shy at first but then all the stigma is gone. Get your club together and call your local MP (especially if they are Lib or NDP)and invite them for a day at the range. (and remind them that we also vote). If you are running the range or a club organize team building sessions and invite local companies for skeet shooting. Organize BBQ and support local charities. Put an add in the paper and promote the sport. There is a lot we can do other than 'come and get them' attitude and 'burring the guns'.

    Disarm Agenda 2 easy steps.

    Step 1
Ban guns in cities. No change in crime.

They will then claim the guns are coming from rural areas.

    Step 2
    Ban guns in rural areas.

Viola all guns removed.....oooopsie......and still crime has not changed.
