We just wanted to do a quick post dealing with the cost of the 180B build.

I know that TSE_Sales is referring to cost of NR being high in general, and not specifically our build. HOWEVER, with our build that is 100% not the case.

The cost of this rifle is 100% due to the cost of manufacturing the components included in the build. The quality and precision involved with making the individual pieces, the application of proper coatings, and the production of a quality build that works and will last is what makes up the cost.

Our company mission statement is to provide HIGH quality parts and firearms without ripping off the consumer with NR tax. We have not done that on this build and will never do that on any of our parts, or firearms.

There is a tendency for people to compare our 180B build to the WK180C simply because they are based on the same original AR180B-2 platform. We have said before that both of these rifles are drastically different builds. As an example, the bolt release is machined from solid 4140 Steel…folded and stamped plate metal could make the part cheaper, but that is not good enough for us. AR15 builds can range from $750 all the way up to $4000. That does not mean that the $4K gun is overpriced.

The competition for our 180B is better likened to firearms built by companies like ATRS, Maccabe, IWI, Robinson Arms and such. In fact, though our rifle could be priced against the competition in the $3000 plus range, ours retails at the $2300(ish) range.

In addition we can add that the firearms are at the Shooting Edge right now because they are 100% willing to put it there, without demanding a huge markup which would increase the price even more to the consumer.

We really respect this attitude from the Shooting Edge as they felt it was better to get the firearms available to you rather than gouge you on price.

If you have any questions or would like to have more information, you can reach us anytime at info@rangewarrioraccessories.com

    Have a great weekend!
Lmao if you were just honest about wanting to max out profits id respect you more than "our bolt releases are steel so 2k please". Do you expect us to believe this garbage, i cant stand companies who take canadian gun owners for fools. You were right about one thing though your quality is probably on par with maccabee...lol.

Well naming a gun 180B when we already have a 180C on the market is not the best idea. Just sayin makes it feel like last year’s product. Maybe I am not a gun nut enough but its like sony realeasing a ps4 where there competitors have a ps5 on the market. My 2 cents

Its hard for manufacturers to explain the cost of manufacturing, and maybe every last millimeter of this rifle is made of ANODIZED UNOBTANIUM from an asteroid but its getting harder for people to believe pricing when we see that you can bring a decent quality NR
Ar-180b to market for $1100, and still have retailers make a profit.

Hard agreement here. I'll be steering clear.
This makes me really upset to see.

    Tough crowd

Who cares what the price point is of two similar products. Its early days. Let the market (CGN posts, reviews, testimonials, youtube videos, etc) speak for the product and then you can make a decision if the product provides the value proposition that you are comfortable paying. There are a gazillion reasons that dictate a products price, one of many could (and could not be) be a larger profit margin. In a hypothetical world if a product was 2 times the price of another similar product, yet it lasted multitudes longer or performed multitudes better or had multitudes less maintenance - would there be an issue with the higher priced product, or would you be a happy gun enthusiast.

A company is bringing a new product to the Canadian market (i believe designed and manufactured in Canada?) And new manufacturing and retail competition to the existing market. This alone should bring joy to the entire community in these troubling times.
    There's Mil-spec, and then there's Gunnutz-spec.
One is stringent, the other contains nuts.

Why don't you guys, instead of itching, bring an offering to market with pricing more in-line with your principles. Canadian market must be easy so why not give it a go?

Or just buy the product that is more reasonably priced that already exists.

Precisely. Money speaks louder than mouths.
