There should be a question on that, are you familiar with Canada's existing gun laws?

Seems that the server has crashed. Or they pulled the survey.

The other side must have read this first, because this side is always reacting to changes in firearms laws and never seam to be proactive.

    Some of us tried.

I'm not convinced that the gun org don't have a conflict of interest and have to walk a bit of a tightrope? If they were successful in pushing back by using some new and innovative ideas this gun complacent community would stop funding them completely.

The threat of new laws is their best fund raiser by far. Kinda like the Chiefs of the Indigenous community - keep their people impoverished and resist anything that will bring the rank & file out of the dark ages to integrate yet the Chiefs with their elaborate dress, higher education, expense accounts and expanding waistlines seem to be "integrating" rather well.

The big thing to take from this is what's real/rational in the here and now in Canada and, what's over exaggerated by Hollywood, social media, news and, for political gain.

12,220 people 2016 losing their lives/seriously injured in motor vehicle related accidents (Nobody bats an eye for new laws or bans), 223 in 2016 for firearms related deaths (everyone losses their minds.) sad thing is vehicles were not made for killing or maiming and is doing far more damage than firearms. so why the hate toward the law abiding?
So, what you're saying is, if someone with a not so incriminating past and a license wanted to, there is nothing stopping them from becoming a valuable member of a criminal group by supplying SKS....?

What stops someone is the conscious choice of a stable, responsible and, law abiding person. The RCMP does their best to filter the good from the bad when issuing a license however banning all firearms to prevent murder as a catch all law has never worked for any country.

To proclaim or assume that every stable, responsible, law abiding person who legally possess a firearm is a potential criminal without credible proof is a childish act and, any legal action taken against a stable, responsible, law abiding person could prove to be a violation against the charter of rights and freedoms Section's (7,9,11(d)(g),12 and,15. A person whom believes this may also suffer from a mental illness such as schizophrenia and should seek professional help for a potential diagnosis.

Should all firearms become prohibited, what's to stop your fabled boogyman from then becoming a valuable member of a criminal group for supplying assault knives, assault vans and, wooden assault sticks + stones?

After shooting this am wifey and I discussed this Q&A with the club executive. They attempt to remain neutral on gun issues as a matter of policy but I think that we have them convinced to do a shout out to all members to act.

For those who are members of other clubs I suggest that you determine your clubs position on this form and encourage them to act. Only by fanning out and reaching as many gun owners as possible - legal or otherwise - will we have a chance to make our numbers heard.

Interestingly one of the executive asked me "Why wasn't this automatically sent to all (R)PAL holders?"

    Good question eh?

My answer: Because we are the only remaining segment of Canadian society that can be gleefully discriminated against and are just toilet paper on Trudeau's shoe.

Part of that is our own fault with the bad boy image that we have so carefully tended and now it's going to bite.

Judging by the join dates it's nice to see so many new members weighing in!
