    6.5 Grendel ammo

    Hi guys,
Wondered if / when you will be getting 6.5 Grendel ammo back in stock? With all the new NR rifles coming out I think there will be a few people looking for factory ammo.
    I know I am.
    Thanks!

Start reloading if you have a Grendel
I've learned that over the last year.
It’s better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it

Ive found about half a dozen places that have 6.5 grendel brass. It ranges from 50cents a case to over 1$ for lapua (rustywood has some).
As for the bullets, any 6.5mm and from what Ive read the 123gr projectiles seem to be the best for accuracy (1-8 twist etc). Just gotta google it, I always filter the country to "Canada".

Edit: Western Metal carries Sierra 6.5mm projectiles.

Grendel brass can also be made from 7.62x39 brass. Just run in through the dies, load it and go. It'll be fireformed on the first firing.

I bought 300 rounds of loaded Amax last year, it was on sale for 25 a box. shoots the exact same as the new eld-m black. Was worth it for the brass alone. Still wondering if any new factory ammo would be coming north other than hornady?

Im going to have to check that out if you can form 7.62x39 brass into 6.5 Grendel. Was not aware.

    To the internet!

Edit: It can be done, but there are drawbacks: http://www.65grendel.com/forum/showt...-Grendel-Brass
