GSG-522 series SD Still Available in Canada

It never was available. Prohibited. Ruled an MP5 variant.

Also, no clue what you mean by "all blue".

Youza.

Hello

First, Thanks for your reply.

Wow even a factory made 22 cal version is prohibited?
What I mean by blue is that I saw a video of one where the receiver top section was a polished steel like finish, flashy.

The fact that it is a "factory made 22 cal" version in no way prevents it from being ruled a variant of an "original" model.

For example, the M&P 22LR AR15 is still classified as an AR15 variant.

Thanks again for clearing that up.
Well I guess I will state the obvious, what a Stupid classification by the RCMP.

I have the GSG 15 and it looks no less scary/tactical than the GSG 522. I suspect it has more to do with the 522 looking like the HK MP5.

Well I am Great at stating the obvious, that makes No Sense, it looks like the real one, ban it.
So if you look at the old movie Christine the possessed old chev car killing people horror movie, wow I see the same old chev on the roads now, how is allowed to be?

How did the RCMP get the "mighty" power to say what is and is not banned by looks only and by no technical standards?

Even more prohibited, since it is basically a .22lr version of the MP5 licensed from HK who made the original MP5 and would actually have a better case why it is an MP5 variant.

The reason why most people thought the GSG 522 should not be prohibited is that it had several design changes from the MP5 to make it "not an MP5" after GSG's original MP5 clone got sued for trademark infringement.

The world is your oyster if you love the H&K MP5 series of guns in Canada, but your limited to amazing airsoft replicas including full auto in both gas blowback and lithium battery powered. The quality and real fire simulation is mind blowing. Check out some reviews on youtube and buy one or all of them and enjoy. There almost as much fun as the real thing.
Christine was a old Chrysler (Plymouth Fury) not a Chev.
