Anyone else get this e-mail ?
I for one don't look at Remembrance day as a day to remember a sale at a gun store .
Poor taste if you ask me .

Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.
If a gun store having a sale is preventing you from observing this solemn day then there is something wrong with you.
I find it weird that your first reaction after indignation over a remembrance day sale was to advertise it on the cgn homepage. Lol

I'll take a sale any day. Some people will get offended by anything these days.
Yes, I am free thanks to them. Past and present. Including alot of my family members through WWII and Korea.
Ironically, Remembrance day is the only Canadian stat I actually observe, and Canada ammo having a sale is entirely irrelevant to that in my opinion. They're not the only ones. CPgear usually does a sale as well

I think it's in poor taste, and expect more from a gun store than this.
Anyone who spends any time thinking about Remembrance Day will likely be taken aback by this.
Grammar is like personal hygiene - you can ignore it if you like, but don't be surprised when people make assumptions about you.
I think its alot less tasteful to gloss over it, like so many people who put up Christmas lights right after Halloween, than it is to mark it with a sale. Outlets are advertising boxing day sales already. Is that worse than having a special sale to mark remembrance day?

Just got the email. Also in the forces. Also find it weird. Not sure what they were thinking.
I think having a sale on Remembrance Day at a gun store makes a lot of sense. Those of us into the "hobby" are typically very adamant about remembering our fallen soldiers. I look at it as the shop also showing their respect and love for those who have fallen.
People get up in arms about anything these days, sheesh!
