Took mine out to test function the other day. I found it was jamming regularly. If you slowly pushed a shell out of the mg with your thumb you could see it would start to point down. Also it was hitting a bit of an edge on the barrel feed ramp. I disassembled the mag and I'm pretty sure the baseplate was installed backwards? I changed it and lightly dremeled/polished the feed ramp edge. I couldn't get it to jam after that in the shop. We'll see at the range.

Also, I assembled it without the spring assist and it felt weird without a release tab. Is this unsafe?

Ya had to do a bit of "Re-Work" to mine as well but feeds excellent now. Can have operator error if not pumping good enough. Removed forward assist as well , didn't like not being able to leave it open to show unloaded... no problems without release tab. Will not fire out of battery at all. Firing pin does not make it to the shell unless closed tight. But like I said need to learn how to run it for it to go bang every time, not as fool proof as an 870 that way. Super fun once its working though.

Also on mags, 2 of mine drop free no problem and the other 2 need some .. assistance to leave. But working them in ok so far and getting better.

I'm happy with mine..nice amount of pressure with the spring assist..
I like the no last shot hold open..
I think I'm going to get a angled front grip..don't like the idea of blowing of a couple of fingers with the 9 in.

Guess I'm filing a champher into the front magwell. It catches something awful.
Chris, do you plan on addressing this in future shipments?

So without the forward assist spring in the shotty does it still function safely without a slide release tab?

Yes, the bolt locks to the barrel extension
