They were exported from the US.
Maybe something to do with the "firearm" loophole?

They seem to like selling complete guns and are not really into supplying parts. I spoke with them maybe 5 years ago and they said they had zero interest in exports and by the looks of the "sold out" that you linked to I bet Americans don't have easy access either.

Not sure if it's a patented design, but either way they don't want to sell it outside the US so it's moot.
I'm surprised that people that used to import Chinese short 870's clones into Canada never asked for a Chinese clone of the Serbu foreend...... specially since the Americans are not interested in foreign sales.

I've never been a fan of pistol grip forends on a pump. But this one looks bad @$$. Folds out of the way to keep it sleek.

I would buy one for my 14" mossberg with a stock and raptor grip.

If not; That's a "sawed-off shotgun" and totally banned in Canada.
Relax, don't sound the alarm yet? I don't believe that REM makes that barrel with the lug in that location, so I think that the barrel is "manufactured" hope that makes you feel better?

We certainly don't want to be importing prohib weapons into this country, that would be awful & think of the children

That would be right after they cut the factory barrel to make it a shorty.

Of course; I would love to be proven wrong.
Sure, that makes sense, it's classified as an AOW in the US, so it's not a "re-worked" SBS, it's manufactured that way, hence the $5 dollar tax stamp, so I don't believe it qualifies as a "sawed off shotgun"

I suppose if you made it here in your basement? that it might fall under that category unless you had a license to manufacture firearms? YMMV

Ok, so are you saying that if a firearms manufacture cuts and existing barrel to make another firearm they are creating a prohib weapon?

So does Dlask manufacture his barrels from "scratch"? , so he smelts the metal and forms the barrel in a press in his shop and then machines the bore, chamber etc?
