I have the T12M (30m range, 30Hz refresh) and a T12W (100m range, 30Hz refresh) as well as a FLIR camera for domestic use (not sure what the refresh is), the scopes have limited usability, fun to play with and mount.

You could imagine scenarios that they would be "useful", but I have never seen John Wick use one yet and I've stubbed my toes every time I turn off the lights and play splinter cell in my basement, my cat definitely thinks I'm crazy but plays along. (I mount it to a CO2 powered "M&P" airsoft handgun with a laser on the bottom rail.

The thermal camera does see studs in my walls on cooler days. I mostly use it to spam my friends with thermal images of my fireplace and barbecue when I'm bored.

overall: 7/10 would buy them all again.

I would say that this is fairly accurate.

I tried out the T20. From 100m I said “That is a guy and his dog”

And sure enough this was accurate.

Exposed water pipes showed hot and cold.

The walls show where insulated and not.

Good image detail within 25 feet or so.

Agree with the 7/10 maybe 7.5

Really neat package. For varminters or even scanning the woods for deer or moose etc. This will fit the bill.
I'm anxious to get it mounted to my x95 and really check it out.

It is a screen so eye relief can be close or far out

Could be head mounted if you found headgear with 30mm mount

Reason for asking is I have a skunk that I need to dispatch and the bugger only comes out when it's dark out
Can be used as main sighting device, has adjustable reticle. However it is recommended as an auxiliary sighting device ie on an offset or flip mount in case your tagret is out of range or if it is the same temperature as the background

Does anyone know or can anyone test if it will pick out the infloor heat piping in concrete? I'm thinking the concrete around the pipe will be the same temp as the pipe but if the piping could be located a guy could safely put anchor bolts in the floor.
