    Buying parts from Brownells

Hi, I've done a couple of searches and can't find info on how to get parts imported from Brownell's in the States.
I know I need to fill out forms, but the gov't website is a pile.

Anyone out there who can simplify or explain this for me?

It depends on what you order. If The item requires paper work Brownell's will let you know. Some items may require a lot of paper work others will just require a end user statement which they will send you. My example I needed a 5 round mag for a Savage it required a end user statement. Things can get complicated with things like barrels etc. It is usually cheaper to find them else where like through a Canadian supplier that is set up to import. that's the short version

One more question, my order will be less than $500, the tutorial seems to be for orders above $500 even though the example given is less than $500.

Gun-parts manufacturers under $500/order must be registered with State Department, but do not require import/export papers.

Am I required to fill this out or does someone at Brownells do this? Anything I need to fill out for our gov't?

Sorry if I missed something in that thread, I've gone a little cross eyed reading the endless dribble on the Canadian gov't website and the RCMP's

You will be sent a request for the end user statement only.

Just make sure no controlled product are on the order.

You will need to fill out the form but Brownells will email it to you. You need to fill it out sign it and send it back (if you have more parts than fit like I always do, just use multiple forms). Brownells will then file it for you and send you a shipping notice in a day or so.
