IIRC certain models are (9mm I think...maybe...and likely the 10mm since highpoint doesn't make a 10mm pistol, so the mag is a carbine mag, not a pistol mag.) And certain models were not (40).
I'm hoping for ten rounders but not holding my breath as I recall these originally were imported with pinned magazines. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable or the dealer can chime in with certainty.

I'm quite happy with my restricted 45ACP version. 10 round mags came with it and work fine but I had to replace the springs over time.
