Well I wasn’t planning to do a review so didn’t bring my DSLR but it appears that I can’t go out in public without taking pics, even if it’s just with my phone…so here we go lol.
I arrived early and was first in line
Where I ran into Santa Fred
Once again FOC did an outstanding job wth set-up and signage. The Warehouse Sale was set up like a grocery store with aisles clearly marked
IMHO a good price for military ball so I picked up a box
Chinese surplus
The new Mauser on display..i saw it at another event and again, great gun for less than $900.
Nice to see a display of knives too, specifically SOG. I liked the production version of this Kiku Matsuda design, one of my favourite custom knifemakers (for fixed blades).
I had seen the SOG multi-tools online so it was nice to play with one in person. Thanks for the demo.
Don’t know why, but I was really drawn to this small lock-back
Compared to the other end of the spectrum.
They also had a set-up to take pics with Santa while holding the airsoft of your choice…I went with the Mac-10 (which looks surprisingly small next to me lol) while Santa had the Blunderbuss
All done at the warehouse, The Shmoo and I headed to the main store. I was excited to see that FOC got some Springfield Armory 1911s in stock as my biggest regret of SHOT show was missing their booth.
The TRP with full dust cover is very beefy, you certainly notice the weight difference but after handling the Range Officer immediately after, I would definitely stick with the TRP.
I picked up a Glock 10/33 round mag and a Violent Little bottle breacher along with some copies of the great new High Caliber gun magazine
And i am happy to report that (unlike the Magpul), the 10/33 mag does drop free from the TTIJWCMPG34's competition magwell
Afterwards The Shmoo and I hit Buffalo Wild Wings. Gagnon Sports, CDN Gunworx and Hero Outdoors…quite a full day! Lol
Thanks again to FOC and The Shmoo.
