Finally brought the adapter to the range couple days ago, and shot 300 rounds (CCI standard velocity). Follow the mag break in procedure and 1-2 FTF every 20 rounds loaded in the mag. The new tab was slightly wear.

I've used Thunder bolt, CCI mini-mag, CCI SV 1070FPS, Wildcat, SuperX, AE 22lr, Golden bullet. Thunder bolt performed the worst as always, CCI SV wouldn't cycle since the 1070FPS...all others performed pretty good and as I stated, last couple round always has been the problem no matter in my 597 or 10/22. :D

This is a new Ruger purchased this past Boxing week after Christmas. Anything look amiss? I’d love to just file shim or sand my way to victory on this but don’t want to mess it up. I have to fight almost every round in.

A number of weeks ago we slightly changed the design. On the rear of the adapter there is a set screw. This screw is there to snug the adapter in the action. Using 1/2 turn increments back the screw out and test fit until snug. This will reduce wobble.

Another thing to try is taking your recoil spring and guide rod out and cleaning them really really followed up by plenty of oil.

Another thing I can suggest is getting a rubber recoil buffer, these help cycle the gun better in my opinion.

Interesting! I’ll check out the screw adjustment!! Way ahead of you on the other touch ups. I polished and buffed the action. Installed a buffer. Trigger reduced to a smooth 2.5lbs!

    ***Edit.*** It didn't work.

Any word on when these will be back in stock?
You can never have too much ammo, unless you are drowning, or on fire.

Should have more in stock late this week.

We should also have ProMag 597 magazines today. These magazines work extremely well.

We have recently received a shipment of ProMag Remington 597 magazines. These magazines work very well and feed all ammunition we tested. They are available here: https://spectreballistics.com/all-pr...-magazine.html

Do these mags need a special break-in or something gimmicky, like the remington mags, to feed properly? Or are they good to go right away?

Good to go right away. Just need to be careful when loading them so you don't get rim lock.
