I have been using my Hultafors axes for a few years hunting now - I liked my first forest axe so much I bought a second as backup - that axe has dressed out five deer and three moose so far (cutting open rib cages, splitting the pelvis, taking off forelimbs) as well as basic camp duties. My Wetterlings hatchet has not held up nearly as well as my hultafors (the edge on my wetterlings chipped out a lot worse and required more sharpening) - I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them. Very happy to see a dealer stocking them - I may have to find a reason to get another.
