I'd be curious to know whether or not standard AR15 barrels can be fitted to the Badger. That would definitely change whether or not I purchase one. For example, if I could fit a 6.5 Grendel barrel, I would look really hard at the Badger as opposed to the ATRS MS/MD SLR/RA XCR.

They take standard AR15 barrels. I’m planning on making one for myself in 450 Bushmaster.

What about bolts? I'd need a 7.62x39 bolt to build a Grendel, for example.

No. You would need a 6.5 Grendel bolt because the bolt face depth is deeper than a 7.62x39 blot.

No. You would need a 6.5 Grendel bolt because the bolt face depth is deeper than a 7.62x39 blot.

The bolt recess varies between type 1 and type 2. Either way, if the Badger is compatible with standard AR bolts then there shouldn't be an issue.

I'm ordering some for myself. Once I try one out I'll probably offer some custom builds.
