Nightforce Optics price increase rolling-out Jan. 1, 2019.

Nightforce has announced an increase in MAP (minimum advertised price) for Canadian dealers that will take effect on January 1, 2019.

The increase will be 2 to 3%, so pricing on an SHV 5-20x56mm non-illuminated will increase to $1589 (from $1558), an NXS 5.5-22x56mm will increase to $2780 (from $2698), an ATACR 7-35x56mm F1 will increase to $4788 (from $4645), and so on...

With the falling Canadian dollar, it is likely that other brands will follow suite.

If you've been eyeing up something for a while, it might be time to consider pulling the trigger!

Now that the Canadian dollars has inreased by ~4%, will the prices come back down?

Lol. Do most companies continually adjust their prices to reflect the CAD/USD rate? No. They do not.

If Nightforce releases new MAP pricing (and it goes down) we are compelled to adjust accordingly as they enforce MAP strictly.

    Prices higher in Canada!

Prices will ALWAYS be higher for Canadians because we are way too polite to even ask why it's so high for us. For instance I was looking for an item on line, it sells for $166.98 CDN and only $62.75 US. What exactly does this mean and why?
A salute to our troops as I was an active reservist!

It means we’re taking it dry... lol , because most are a bunch of bag lickers ... lolilol.. ha ha
But the Nightforce optics are actually cheaper here, than on some of the U.S sites.

    lol - it's not like there's a printed catalog.

Nightforce isn't so bad, spread-wise - way less than Sightron and Trijicon, for example. I would consider the 15-55 Comp, if it didn't have the POI shift problems.
