Ruger does an 18.63" ar in 450 bushmaster, that would be a good parts kit for the atrs upper and lower

If it's either loud, obnoxious, fast, hated by the general population or any combination of these, I OWN IT!!
I'd be interested in .458 Socom, .50 Beowulf, or .450 Bushmaster in that order.
For anyone not wanting to grab a big bore barrel because of the magazine cap limit, .458 Socom uses standard .223 magazines so you can fit 4 rounds in the 10 round XCR-L mags.
TNA also has purpose made 5 round ASC magazines for .450 Bushmaster.
458 socom.. or 458 hammer... would both be great options .
I believe the later of the two has more jump in the chamber, and thicker brass..
450 bush master mags feed socom rounds also
Yes.
When in doubt.....empty the magazine.....
i will amend my statement and say that a .473 bolt in an AR15 will not handle the 60k psi of 500 Auto-Max.
450 bushmaster uses a .473 bolt, yes, but it also runs a very low 38k PSI.
30 RAR in AR15s uses a special upper, bolt, and barrel extension that are all larger than an standard AR15, which is how it handles the high pressure of the the 30 RAR.

Just a thought, does the upper need to be finished differently to feed single stack large diameter rounds like the 458 socom and 50 beowulf as opposed to say 223?
