    That's the nice thing about 22, pickup 50 rounds and spend an afternoon, you will know if it is good for you and you won't be out too much coin

    Yup! Even the most expensive .22 ammo is still around $.50 per round. Once you move to center fire, just the projectiles will run you more than that.

    So now that everyone is excited and cannot wait, there is something to try in the meanwhile. Lot of my guys have been having really good results with Sk Biathlon Sport. The guys running and participating in CRPRS, are always looking for something that works well beyond 100yrds and on top of that, something that will work in the cold. It is bit of a hidden gem in my opinion that is priced like SK Rilfe Match, but little more speed to allow for better groups on ranges beyond traditional .22 expectations. The proof is in the pudding, the winner of the inaugural CRPRS season was using Sk Biathon Sport
