    I’m gratuful for Barney making the effort to speak my language from across the border!

    I had fun and learned from my partner,
    Now that my lvl3 IPSC match June 22/23rd in Kingston has been cancelled by the organizers,
    I may just replace this with PR2!
    Still TBD.

    Well, back home to SW Ontario after 8hr drive today....gawd I hate driving through Toronto.
    Thanks to Barney, Morgan & Heather for your time and efforts and to our guy in the butts...sorry forgot your CGN handle.

    I was one of the noobs...never pulled trigger beyond 300m before, never been in a match, never shot prone before, never worked in a "butts" pit, never scored a target, never spotted for someone else etc etc etc.
    The learning and experience was gained by me being "thrown into the breech" and just doing it all. I actually scored multiple hits at every distance including 600m!!!! I am competing with my self and next time looking for improvments.
    I confirmed that my reloads worked very well and "dope" elevation was accurate. Next steps for me are to learn about reading wind as my misses were mostly horizontal. Also, working on stretching neck/upper back/shoulders to get more comfortable in the prone position. "Agony" snap is correctly worded because my neck was in agony way before 10 minutes were up.
    The time on the line goes by quickly, so not much time for checking out the other shooters setups.

    Thanks to my fellow noob and partner Farmer Bob...we stumbled through it together.

    Barney, I just want to thank you for putting on this clinic/match. It's unfortunate that there were complaints. I myself feel I got every cent worth and more out of this event. I tried to soak up every bit of knowledge being shared with me and I feel I came away learning a great deal. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a knowledgeable teacher and can't wait for the next event. Thanks again to Barney, Morgan, and Heather for making this possible, I for one am grateful for the experience.

    I am hoping you learned a great deal. I had some concerns voiced to me about the material in the “course” this weekend. All I can say is hahahahahaha

    I am being facetious because nowhere in my thread does it say this is a course, especially for the killer sky high price of $60 for two days. Hahahaha

    Honestly if you want a course, I can direct you to REAL courses by real snipers and real gun fighters and real breachers and real assaulters and be prepared to pay according for a “course”...I’m just a Dirty Patricia so you get into the game for cheap $$ Hahahahaha

    There’s a reason I call this weekend a Clinic /Match, because that’s what it is....oh yeah, a bit of a practice also. I don’t think there is a place or club or range or school that offers an opportunity to shoot the distances we shot today with the structure we provided. We are a very unique community/ arrangement/ hybrid group of shooters and I’m super proud to call all of you my clients.

    I even have one client deployed right now in Northern Hot & Sandy right this moment. Some of you have shared a firing point and Danny’s Steak House dinner with callsign22

    We are a super group of people and I could not be happier. Thanks for all the laughs and giggles and jokes and steaks and prime rib and deserts and stories.

    I am honoured! I’ll have the scores up tomorrow and I better hit the sack!

    Oh yeah for the super keeners, google search great folks like these:

    * Milcun , Keith Cunningham and Linda Miller
    * Phaseline Green , Earl Green
    * Rob Furlong Marksmanship
    * WGT Consulting
    * Longshot Shooting School
    * Veritas Courses, here on CGNutz

    TTYL tomorrow

    Cheers, Barney

    Thanks Barney. Always lots of fun !
    I think everyone had wind challenges. Winds changed direction and gusts from 8-15mph
    Reading the wind by brail was challenging as no flags reflected actual wind .
    I really enjoyed the entire two days.
    If you have not attended. I highly recommend Barney’s Petawawa weekend.

    Barney this was an outstanding 'course'. I learned far more than I imagined and had a blast doing so. Don't change anything, I will be doing this again and again. I bought the 'Impact!' book and am planning my strategy to dominate the Nationals. TonyMo can confirm that this is clearly a joke. Big thanks to my fire support team TonyMo for reloading my mags during the snaps and doing my dope on the fly while spotting for me. Now, time to find a new PRS rig.
