The shot counter has me interested. I'm curious to know if it actually just count how many shots are fired or if it actually counts how many rounds are left in the magazine. It seems to me there would need to be a corresponding bit of tech in the magazine in order to properly assess how many rounds are left through something like spring pressure.

I am going to guess that its a simple sensor that detects the recoil impulse, and the reason its coming later is they’re having trouble getting it to work accurately

If you buy one and use a samsung phone, DO NOT update to Android 10/One UI 2.0. Ever since the update, my optic will not connect to the app. Now I have to resight everything in on another phone.

    Kinda disappointing with that part.

    Cool

Now all i need is a couple miles of extension cord to lug around to charge the non-replaceable batteries when the thing dies in the middle of butt####istan.

    Meprolight Foresight App Version 1.3.1:

The new upgrade will give you the ability to turn on or off display elements. It will also remove one feature. In order to make the Shot Counter more useful for as many different platforms, this upgrade will remove that feature while we work on it. If you want to keep the shot counter, DO NOT UPGRADE AT THIS TIME. The next version will bring back the shot counter, so if you elect to not upgrade, the next version will bring you up to date.
