    CNC "engraving" is a far cry from the real thing. Really? Better than a roll press but who is Beretta kidding - it looks like crap. Up there with "enhanced grain".

    The picture does not do it justice as it looks much better (and deeper) in person.
    I never said it was better than hand engraving which is, unfortunately, a dying art for multiple reasons (cost of it being one of them).

    I for one could not afford such a gun today if hand-engraved. Sometimes the machine work to my tastes at least would look nicer if the design had less detail.

    For sure: the engraving (subject, manner, style and depth) are all subjective and all tastes vary. Sometimes less is more lol!
