    Nikon Black Scopes

Nikon will be continuing to expand it's current lineup of the Black series scopes: more illuminated models with a greater selection of magnification ranges and reticles is anticipated.
    More selection is always better......

Agree. Biggest problem with the Nikon scopes is the lack of exciting reticles IMO, the rest of the features are pretty excellent.

Yep: while no ETA was provided the marketing guys assured me more reticles are coming.

I agree X1000. I’ve always loved their glass, the scopes are well made, and generally their price is very competitive - I just hate the BDC. I actually had that conversation with one of their Reps a few years ago at a customer appreciation day of one of the sponsors on here. I explained to him that I didn’t want to know the circle that my bullet was going to hit in - I wanted to know the POI.

Having said that I did pick up one of the “Blacks” a couple years ago, at a good price, with a mil-dot reticle. I have to say - I love the scope.
My wife calls me a pessimist. I claim I'm a realist. But I'm probably just an a$$hole with an attitude problem.

Why do they not include a throw lever for magnification?

I honestly thought they would bring more then one new black scope.
If Canada banned guns in 1812 and it was not for armed volunteers we would be saying the pledge of allegiance right now. Call me a true Canadian but I believe the annual day we burned the white house down should be a paid holiday.
