Those versions have been out for awhile... they must have done another run of the African 9.3X62's as they sold like hotcakes. The M77 International .243's have been on Gunbroker for a few months now. The No.1-A .250 Savage will sell well.

Thanks very much for the pictures... and additional info is appreciated.

P.S - I have spoken to Larry a few times, nice to put a face to the voice.

Were they also blued bolt handles, or the standard stainless bolt handles on those Africans?

Hmmmm... good question... I will go back in my pics and see if I can find the one that I had... I am inclined to think it was the standard Hawkeye stainless... the blues bolt is nicer IMO.

My African has a stainless bolt. I do like the blued bolts. It seems like the new ones dont have express sights, just typical standard ruger sights. Also looks like they enlarged the barrel band.

That's my one complaint about my 6.5x55 - is the standard sights. Even though it'll be scoped, I wish it had express sights for aesthetics.

No stainless ruger no 1 with laminate wood? Shame, I love my 450 bushmaster, wish they would make a 500 smith&wesson in the same model.

Just walnut there. Neat to see a 250 savage chambered no1. The stainless were 45/70 and the full stock was in 6.5x55
