    A pistol in a non bottle necked/magnum cartridge should easily last 100,000+ rounds...you will be replacing the springs many times during that time tho.

    50,000 rounds of ammo at $250/1000 (taxes and shipping in, making in a good deal) would cost you $12,500...

    ---

    SO if you can afford to even attempt to wear out your barrel, you can afford to replace a barrel costing a few hundred dollars!!!

    Also curious if this was in one sitting or over multiple days? I imagine the barrel would be cooked if it was all at once?

    If you fired one round per second it would take around 14 hours. And around $12k at current prices. I think I saw some testers at the range today😃
