Not sure where I'm gonna go with this build yet, but I had a couple Colt LPK's sitting around so I started. Note the fire selector position of "keep dreaming"
The imminent death of this thread gives me hope that Canadian firearms owners do not intend to let themselves be pushed around.

Well yes and no to that, for one this isnt mine, just helped build, and I'm info seeking , plus MOLON LABE (for my buddy who lives way way way up north) Plus he waited a year almost to the day, he wants to show off
Weight with red dot is 4lb 15, his girls can finally lift it up pop off a round offhand!
FAxon Gunner barrel 26oz (v7 thread pro .5)
Slr rifleworks Ti GB and tube 1.5oz
Brigand Handguard 4.5oz (wow what a nice feel in hand, everyone hates the look, but FEELS so right)
Receiver set 19.6oz
DSA Arms Aluminum BCG 5.2oz (best bang for buck aluminum bcg)
AXTS raptor charging handle
Smoke comp stock/plate/castle nut 5.2oz
Hogue 15 deg grip 1.5 oz and feels awesome definitely thought this would suck
Internals
Strike port cover
BAD ext takedown pin
BAD cast mag release and button
V7 tool steel bolt catch - a surprise on this build, so streamlined(tucks under the upper real well) and just feels nice
V7 hybrid ambi selector
JP Scss with weights removed 3oz
and the very sweet Larue MBT straight, man is this ever nice. I have the TT adjust, and the Larue has a touch crisper break!
Things he learned on this build, 2A Armament ti ext takedown pin doesnt work that great, just not long enough, and the ti seems to "bind" on aluminum no matter how greased up, edited to say I do have a very nice tight fitting receiver set
The question - When pulling back charging handle, then push bolt stop to hold bcg, it is SO stiff to push in the ch handle forward and tuck it away. I tried 2 different ones and different bcg(m16). It does move but with great effort, I dont want to bend/break the ch , but when drying racking it fast, its smooth. When doing it slow, its kind of "bumpy", 3 or so jerks/bumps

Thanks for that, and yah, i noticed that resistance right away. Sure wish CH would slide home with that same smoothness after. I have to use a lot of force to push it back in
