I would have to see it for myself but my judgement right now would be, unless you’re the hunchback of notre dame, that can’t be comfortable to shoot.

Just got mine, apparently the first MS Mk12 Mod 0. Waiting on the rear site, but the boys at ATRS were happy to send it to me later so I could get the rifle now.

I like the A2 stock. It's basic but works for me. Btw, 11.6 lbs as shown.

What barrel did you use to get it down to that weight?

MRA pencil + hand guard. TR24 optic + Aero mount. Brownells light weight BCG. If I had gone with a different grip (the ergo isn't light), and fussed over a few other bits, I think I could have gotten under 7. My goal was under 7.5. This proves what I suspected, that you don't need to spend $$$$ to get a high quality light weight build. Oh yea, the MRA comp isn't exactly light either, for sure would be under 7 if I swapped that out for something smaller. Learned this building mountain bikes, your biggest weight savings are in the biggest parts, simple. It's easy to to sucked into grams here and there, but as with anything it's that last 20% that is the hardest (and most expensive) to gain. She very likely could touch 6.5 if I went with a T2 or something. Carbon hand guard, and a super minimal stock, hello 6.

Anyone have any luck installing a hiperfire competition trigger, by removing the rear takedown pin ?

Or is this completely a lost cause?
