What kind of cost would someone be looking at for that setup minus the optic? Feel free to pm if you don't wanna say on the forum,
If it's either loud, obnoxious, fast, hated by the general population or any combination of these, I OWN IT!!

EDIT: I had to get creative but I finally figured out how to make your picture show.
So the DD lock rings fit, but you can just use four screws and omit the mid ones?

Most parts off a Colt AR15A4. Same gun, just wanted to see what it looked like with the different stocks. I'm going with the fixed stock for now.

I got my Sporter out for a function test today. My rifle has the BCL IBI mid-length barrel and a cheap $97 BCG. What a nice, soft shooter it is.

It performed flawlessly with three types of ammo and ejected from 2:30 to 3:30 position. It shot best with my 55gr Hornady Vmax handloads which weren't particularly good loads (crimped without a cannelure and possibly unweighed). I brought some 69gr SMK handloads but couldn't use them because they were seated too long. Next time.

Factory Winchester white box and Black box AR both shot around 2" groups. Not bad for a 7lb trigger, 9x optic with fat reticle and kinda lousy ammo. I think it has great potential.

I'll post up some better groups after I get my Premier scope on and some better ammo.

Nachoninja that’s a great looking build. I like the classic build.

Had a chance to get mine out to the range today to see how well it worked. I had a few little hiccups but I will blame myself for those (miss aligned gas block) but there were a couple of others but I will chalk them up to breaking in a new rifle.

For some reason, the first round was always off from the rest of the group.

Shooting American Eagle 55 gr bulk ammo @ 100m. Using a bipod and standard GI trigger.

First round being off is called cold bore. It's very common. It will get less over time as copper builds up in the barrel. If you hand load you can pretty much eliminate it
