My friend in a different province had some random parts so put together sort of an SP1-ish rifle. Nothing high-end, just old Colt stuff. He was here visiting yesterday, hence the pic with my horrid orange lawn chair in my shop. He's gone now, and his rifle too.

Somebody will probably ask what brand of safety selector detent spring my buddy Mike used, but most of you will likely just be interested to know that this is a 18.6" Faxon barrel with a 13.5" Maple Ridge Armory handguard and TNA's new reverse fake can/compensator.
Can't wait for it to warm up and take her for a spin before Mike goes back to Canmore.

So what length gas system is on that baby? Does the reverse can compensator make it front heavy? Be curious to hear if it reduces the recoil much.
