I put a PWS buffer tube in one of my lowers and a Strike Industries tube in another. Both fit properly. I never tried to fit a basic mil-spec tube so I can't comment on them.

This is the identical predicament in the Stag 10 with a similar buffer. Use one without the notch or try not to seat it so deep.

Not at all, I tried 6 different Milspec tubes I had on hand, all fit without issue. Unfortunately I now realize I now want a JP SCS and missed the discount lol.

That makes sense. If the notch wasn't there and it just came up to the edge of the tube, it wouldn't be a problem. I still like what I did with the notched one as it adds just a little more insurance against tube rotation.

My Maccabee had the same issue. Weird.

Seems like a buffer tube problem and not a lower problem

Someone building buffer tubes trying to fix a problem that doesnt exist while creating new problems is how I see it

Is anyone having an issue with these RRA LAR-15 10 round mags? They are not properly activating the mag catch and need to be inserted either with the release depressed or with some force in order to seat properly. They are also not releasing properly and require some force to pull out with the release depressed. I have no issue with 5 round rifle mags, in and out very smoothly.
