Some other folks might have better luck.

The plastic cover from Strike seems to fit though, without any interference issues. Just needed some ball detent adjustment in order to stay closed.
A regular mil-spec dust cover works fine. No?

Didn't work too well for me. Had one that was pretty sloppy and would pop open from bumping the gun or slamming a mag in. And then it wouldn't always open from cycling the bolt.

So one of the Strike covers works fine and the V7 ultra light also fit and functioned quite nicely.

this actually has to do with the square corners of select magazines, and the radius'd corners of the upper. The worse offenders I've encountered, actually have a dent on the magazine where the sheet metal is folded (orange follower, 10 round pistol mags), that protrudes forward from the rest of the magazine. On some receiver sets, with some mags, it's caused them to not drop free.

IF your set is having this problem, you are welcome to email us at info@albertatacticalrifle.com and we can give you the information to ship it back to us, and we can machine a little more clearance in there. This isn't something to be done to everybody's, but if your having issues don't suffer in silence, get a hold of us. It could be something really simple that's binding it up.

You know whats cool. The angle you guys chose for the magazine well is the same angle as those shorty LAR-15 pistol mags, so it doesnt look pants on head retarded when theyre inserted. Very nice

Anybody have issues with Giessele triggers, seems there's not enough room between the rear of the trigger and fixed rear pin to slide the uppers lug in there, kind of perplexed right now.
