This may be a change that Kodiak/wolverine has made going forward....we're not sure.
It does make things a little more difficult for us as we may have to contend with:
1. A design change on the lower, that results in a variety of sizes in a variety of lowers; or
2. A large tolerance on the lower, that results in a variety of sizes in a variety of lowers.
It will definitely make it challenging to send out Bolt Release Kits to people that have WKs without knowing the thickness of their individual receiver.
If it is situation 1 from above, then going forward we will probably be able to nail it down based on serial number....ie up to ### serial number order this kit, after ### order this kit.
Situation 2 above, will make it much more difficult, as serial number will not matter and any given rifle, but we will figure it out.
If someone out there has our bolt release in a rifle with a serial number above 600 that works, can you let us know.
This is actually one of the reasons that we seem to run out of bolt release kits, we have already had to make 5 different batches of various sizes because of sizing issues on the WK.
