Issue ammunition probably has a mild steel core. Problem for indoor range backstops. Irrelevant on outdoor ranges.

I bought a couple of Tokarevs over the years. A new Polish ex-police 7.62 and a .22 Sportowy.
The 7.62 shoots well, but tends to bite the web of my thumb if I take a good, high grip.

They aren't refurbed. They are used straight from owners. At least my TT is.

Ok thanks, what have you found the condition to be?

I just got onto the TT-33 train. Found a Soviet 1943 model and picked it up for $300. Nice shape, no rust, 4XXX serial number.
Any TT33 pros out there that can suggest what its real value is?

I picked up a .22lr sportowy (not from SFRC), Polish made (as they are), and the condition was well used (cosmetically) but fine mechanically.
