Had mine out today for the first time, couldn’t be happier with it. Cycled, fired, and extracted everything I could feed it without issue. Definitely interested in a 22mag

Mine is accurate with any ammo I put through it.
I still cant believe how dirty the barrel was from new.
The rifle had extraction issues right from the first time I shot it. I Replaced the right extractor
spring with a stronger one and now it functions perfectly.
The Zastava is as good or better quality than my CZ at just over half the price.

I'm also experiencing intermittent extraction issues. Do you remember where you got your spring from?

The mag feeding issues come from the followers, some are oversized, some have flashing that needs to be removed. Pretty simple fix, just remove the followers and sand them down until they don't bind all the way through the magazine travel. No issues with mine after that, prior to, it would only feed 3 rounds.
Extractors, same issue, they are stamped steel and could use a good smoothing, very easy to do and will solve extraction issues.
The feeding issue for last round on my rifle is certainly not being caused by a binding follower and the extraction issue not from a rough extractor!
Lots of people have the same issues, see rimfirecentral... The chamber is tight and the extractor springs are notoriously week. Feeding problems for last round may stem from bad mag/follower geometry. No problem in the accuracy department but reliable it is not!

Did you get the stronger spring on warranty or would you mind to share where one can purchase one?

    Reviving an old thread...

Just finished to put back together my Zastava MP22.

Refinished the stock ( stripped with turpentine ) with Tru-Oil.
It was the first time I was using Birch Casey tru-oil and I can say its fairly easy to use.
The action is bedded and the barrel is now free floated.
Polished the safety and trigger parts and a couple areas on the bolt.

Scope is a leupold compact 6X AO with Burris signature zee rings ( weird fit but looks sturdy and centered ).

Should have some time to test it at the range in a week or two.
