Hunters hold rally to protest Quebec long-gun registry

In 1977 I was 13 years old. I helped my Father and his friends stuff thousands of envelopes to wake up the gun owners. People had a trust for the government and felt that it would never happen. Many of our own thought we were fanatics and crazies.

It seems the common pattern is people feeling too comfortable and trusting the status quo too much. Fortunately, this can be used to the advantage of gun owners. After bans, there may come complacency on the part of anti-gun people. After all, the long gun registry was retracted. It's rare for gun control countries in the anglosphere (besides the US) to walk back restrictions/control.

Quebec Hunters got Guts and I applaud them .

The rest of the Country needs to do the same, what about holding a Rally in every Canadian City once a year. Like a National Hunter and Firearms user Day.

Well done Quebec but stay tuned for the next round of gun legislation by the Trudeau government. Canadians are very passive so we as gun owners have to step up to the plate continue the protest or the laws will be dictated with no course of action left to take.
Again way to go Quebec. Canada keep up the fight.

Well it’s about time people are starting to wake up. Like I have been saying for a while now we need to protest in massive numbers all across the country and the sooner the better

We should give a round of applause to the hunters and gun owners in Quebec. Protests by gun owners and hunters in a major city is possible. And the media has to report it!

Thank you to the Quebecois for showing strength for ALL of us in Canada. This is not just about Quebec, but you set an example for all gun owners in Canada to follow!

Two FED UP rallies in the 90s.

First one when Alan Rocks in his head started spewing he got shouted off the podium when 10,000 called "bull ####"

Second one we got "The debate is over!" Annie, now the new Haligonian representing her old province. Tone Deaf Turdo, indeed.

I'll lose respect for Albertans if they don't just pull out, to heck with negotiations. That debate is over.
