The helmets do use standard ops core helmet covers. Do the weight savings make any difference on your decision between Level III and IV.

No, it all about rating. If there was a UHMWPE Lvl IV I would go that way

I’d buy a set right now.

If custom order for a bit more money (one off) is an option, let me know!!!!
We will see if we can bring some in at that size. We should be able to let you know tomorrow.

UHMWPE are light weight but they are thick, usually over an inch to get to level 3. It is also ineffective against NATO ball. Making it to rate any more than what it is means wearing couple inches of plastic - there is a reason there isn't such thing as pure UHMWPE Level 4 or Level 3+, unless it is combined with ceramic.

I'm buying the plates for sure, and I also want a video to show the features of your plate carrier.
The size seems a bit too big for me, even medium. Are they in stock now(the carrier?)

Based on this thread I feel comfortable ordering the LVL IV without the NIJ cert knowing that it will be coming in the future.

to AIT this is how companies need to communicate with buyers

    Order in, now I wait
